Ways to Help
Hartford's Camp Courant is a
century old summer program for Hartford city children. The camp operates for
six weeks during the summer months, but it involves volunteers, businesses and
other organizations year-round. Here are just some of the ways you or your
organization can help us fulfill our mission: To provide a summer sanctuary
for Hartford's children, which enables them to develop positive relationships,
learn and have fun.

Direct Financial Support |
It costs approximately
$965,000 a year to provide a range of interesting and unique programs for up
to 2,000 Hartford children during the summer months. Unrestricted financial
support will provide all of the services at camp, including transportation,
nutritious meals, health care and a bathing suit, if needed. It costs
$25 per day per child to provide these services, or $125 a week. If you
would like to provide direct financial support, please contact Eleanor
Conrad Claffey, Development Assistant, at (860) 241-3750 or
econrad@campcourant.org, or
click here for more information. |
