Special Event Volunteers

Camp Courant hosts two major events each year, the Camp Courant Classic Golf Tournament and the Buddy Ball.  These events raise money to support the operating costs of our summer program, and are becoming more successful with each passing year.  We need volunteers to ensure the growing success of these events.  If you are interested in volunteering for any of the tasks below, please contact Eleanor Conrad Claffey, Development Assistant at (860) 241-3750 or via email at econrad@campcourant.org.

17th Annual Camp Courant Classic Golf Tournament

This year's tournament will be on June 9, 2008 at the Hartford Golf Club.  Volunteers are needed for:

The Golf Committee:	Members of the Golf Committee are responsible for planning the event, and soliciting sponsors, foursomes and individual players.  Must attend one daytime meeting a month, between January and June.
Auction Item Solicitation:	Volunteers are needed to help Camp staff secure auction items for the event.  No experience required; camp staff will train you.
Preparation and Detail Committee:	Volunteers are needed to help camp staff with the preparation of the event (assembling goodie bags, give away's, etc.) as well as working the event (registration, Mulligan ticket sales, raffle sales, etc.).

Buddy Ball 2008

Camp Courant will hold it's annual Buddy Ball on September 12, 2008 at our campsite in Farmington.  Volunteers are needed for:

The Sponsorship Committee:	Members of the Sponsorship Committee are responsible for soliciting sponsors and promoting individual tickets.  Must attend one daytime meeting a month, between January and September.
Auction Item Solicitation:	Volunteers are needed to help Camp staff secure auction items for the event.  No experience required; camp staff will train you.
