We are seeking Camp Counselors for a large non-profit day camp located in the Hartford Region.

The Camp Counselor will supervise a group of campers within a particular age group.  Duties include safely managing children as they move through their daily schedule, and assisting in the safe loading of buses.

Requirements include: High school graduate or above preferred; previous care of child or children, including babysitting, day care, teaching, student teaching, camp counselor or parenting; excellent interpersonal skills in working with children; cross cultural competence, and the ability to work outdoors all day.

Requirements include: current certification in American Red Cross CPR for professional rescuer or equivalent; current certification in American Red Cross lifeguard training or equivalent; excellent interpersonal skills in working with adults and children.
